"Incredibly honoured to be on the WISE100 NatWest list recognising leading women in social entreprise alongside inspiring and visionary entrepreneurs like Claire Dove, Maggie O'Carroll, Bonnie Chiu and Baroness Glenys Thornton. Such a great recognition of the work we do at Brides do Good to end child marriage, on the one year anniversary of our launch! "
Our founder Chantal Khoueiry was named on the inaugural WISE100 list last week, the first time the role of women in social entreprise is celebrated in such a way.
During the launch event, female entrepreneurs and CEO shared their wisdom accumulated over their career. "Write down your stories, claim your successes and go out there and tell your stories and those of this wonderful network, the WISE100, that you are now part of," advised Karen Lynch, CEO of Belu.
A year after launching, Brides do Good has already donated over £18,000 to its partners Plan International and Too Young to Wed, to fund their programmes against child marriage. And it's just the beginning!
