Malala would know. She has dedicated her life to making sure girls the world round can access education.
An estimated 130 million girls between the age of 6 and 17 are out of school. 15 million girls of primary-school age can't go to school. They'll never gain the skills required to compete in the labour market and gain independence. They'll probably marry earlier, have more children and be less healthy than their sisters who did go to school.
Today, as part of the Al Manal Humanitarian Initiative "teacHER" campaign, you have the power to act: when you buy your wedding dress at our Dubai Ladies Club pop-up, you'll help fund Plan International programmes for girls' education in Ethiopia.
