Save girls from child marriage when you donate your wedding dress
End child marriage by 2030, one wedding dress at a time
Barcelona Bridal Week kicks off in a week’s time and we’re super excited to see which stunning gowns Spanish creators will send down the catwalk. In the meantime, we are revisiting two of our favourite Catalan bridal brands, Jesus Peiro and Pronovias, who demonstrate collection after collection how wedding dresses should be designed.
Jesus Peiro from £1,200
A reference name for wedding gowns since its early days in the 1980s, Jesus Peiro is synonymous with the quality and sophistication of made-in-Spain gowns. Its collections, designed by Merche Segarra, are recognised for their elegance.
We are particularly grateful to Jesus Peiro for donating two signature gowns, the traditional 4010 (£1,200) and the romantic 6060 (£1,250) to our movement. Two thirds from the sale will go to Plan International and Too Young to Wed programmes to end child marriage.
Pronovias from £700
Pronovias is THE go-to Spanish brand for dreamy dresses. Whether your are after a princess ball gown, a stunning lace A-line silhouette or a magical mermaid dress, they have the perfect answer. Shop our curated capsule of three Pronovias dresses up to 70% off: the Leisa and its voluminous organza and tulle full skirt (£800), the Bente featuring a scalloped lace-covered bodice (£1,500) and the one-shoulder Arada with beaded details around the waist (£700).
